WOMAD!!!!

womad is 'world of music art and dance' and just took place last weekend here in taranaki.. thousands of people showed up to check out music from all over the world. my favs were ojos de brujo from spain and skatalites from jamaica, but saw lots of cool stuff.. had a great great weekend, met so many cool people, and listened to some great music.. its about $220 to get access to the 3 day event, but with the help of a german physics student staying here we managed to figure things out and my wwoofing friend hector and i got in 'on the low budget program'!!! feels like ive been in nz for months and its only been a week!!! loving it
