after spending a total of 14 hrs on air pacific i must say the they are the BEST airline i have seen by far.. it was only $22 to bring my bike! (it costs $160+ to go from s.f. to l.a. with a bike on a local airline).. also, because they are based in fiji, the staff wears native clothing which includes men and women wearing dresses and they are really nice and attentive.. also the food was awesome.. i normally would pass on anything given to me on an airplane but i was assured that all the food came from fiji and was made fresh, my breakfast consisted of: various fruits, most of which i didnt recocnize, eggs, spicy chicken sausage, yogurt, waxy yellow corn, and good coffee.. also kudos to auckland airport for having a bike assembly center!
