while awaiting an early march departure i think ive been pretty productive thus far.. been taking online classes for web design (dreamweaver, photoshop, etc) and its coming along well.. i enjoy it and seem to be picking it up relatively quickly.. i hope to have at least a couple sites up soon and will post the links here.. hopefully i am trading a daily income, a social life, and the need to wake up at a specified time for the chance to open some doors for doing web projects from the road.. as doing one small business site can easily earn over $1k i hope this will fair well in southeast asian currencies and hopefully give me lots of time there to explore and eat! also been studying indonesian and got language software for more that 25 languages that will surely come in handy lots.. but i must admit that too much of my time goes to trying to achieve higher ratings on internet chess websites! i guess i have a nerdy side, but nothing can clear my mind and focus my thoughts quite like a couple of uninterrupted hours of live chess action.. and of course if i happen to lose to someone under the age of 12, i happily remind him that chess is a man's game by responding with lots of vulgarity hopefully scarring he/she for life.. just kidding, but i hate those kids..
chelsea has been working full time with a company called clean water action which tries to change policy for maintaining cleaner water.. also she just picked up a part time bartending gig that seems promising and she's still looking into some nz/aus job opps.. creatively she has been making lots of necklaces and painting too.. sadly she will not be partaking in the rest of the journey as it is not really practical for her right now.. effectively she is leaving me to fend for myself and fight off wild animals and herds of beautiful indigenous women! well probably just the animals but who knows..
love you baby, you will be missed.. just had the best 5 months of my life and am happy we are parting on great terms.. you always have a home wherever i am, and by home i mean a tent in the woods of course!
